Yesterday I received the coffee press that I ordered so I could brew the Crio Bru cacao. I just brewed my first cup (Ghana French Roast) and have to give it 5 stars and a really big thumbs up!! I made 8 oz in the press and when done I added a little bit of heavy cream. It was very delicious. I will play with it here and there with either a sweetener to have it be like hot chocolate or more cacao to have it be a little bolder of a taste. Thank you for an awesome product.

Smooth chocolate taste.

I have to mix it with coffee. By itself, it's either too bitter, or too watered down. Thought I would eventually replace coffee with it, but I can't drink a whole cup of it by itself. No matter what kind of creamer, sugar I use. I'm surprised.

It took me a minute to figure out how to brew it to my satisfaction, My favorite way is in a 16 oz ceramic cup that comes with its own infuser insert and ceramic top. I used to use this cup for tea, however it's perfect for Crio Bru. I heat up 2 cups of water in my electric kettle, pour over 3 tablespoons only of the cacao of choice, wait 10 min. for brewing and then enjoy it with a half teaspoon of monk fruit "sugar" and some cream.. DELICIOUS! And the ritual of making this is nearly as satisfying as drinking it. You know, self-care! Heck, I may even start journaling while drinking it. Try it. It's good for your body as well as your soul.

These flavors are some of the best of the Crio Bru products! I actually like mixing them when I brew a batch in the French press. The Ghana roast is deep but not bitter and has a lovely chocolate aroma. The Double Chocolate is lighter roast but has a dessert-like quality and complements the Ghana French roast so well. Love this combo!
